RESPONSE:
There is no problem with our system. Remember to send your images in jpeg format (file extension .jpg). It is also important that the files not be too large (ie: 12 megs) as the transfer could then time out. This is normally not a problem.
With regards to the # of listings without pictures. As our website is free these B&B (or resort property) owners are more interested in increasing their exposure on the internet. They prefer to add their own website links (web addresses, or URL such as www.yahoo.com) to our site.
Also, because our service and directory listing is free, the level of commitment is smaller than, say, with a directory charging $100 or more per year (in which case B&Bs owners have a strong incentive to take the time to add pictures and not only add links).
We believe that when BB owners start getting reservation requests via our website, this too will be an incentive to add pictures. Listings with pictures receive disproportionately more reservation requests, and get ranked first in our search engine results.
